Klaus Brecht ist als Akademiedozent der Landesakademie für die musizierende Jugend in Baden-Württemberg tätig. Der inhaltliche Schwerpunkt liegt in der vokalen Arbeit mit Jugendlichen und Erwachsenen. Daneben wirkt er als Chorleiter und Stimmbildner in Workshops verschiedener Organisationen, Verbände und Verlage im gesamten Bundesgebiet. Er ist Leiter des Kammerchors Tritonus und des Internationalen Jugendchortreffens C.H.O.I.R. Seine innovativen und kreativen Ansätze im Rahmen der vokalen Arbeit haben zur Herausgabe mehrerer Lieder- und Chorbücher bei verschiedenen Verlagen geführt.
